I was introduced to Chiropractic when I had my own back problems and a friend told me that I just had to go and see her Chiropractor. To humor her, I went a Chiropractor and of course I got better. I was amazed at how the healing touch was gentle and effective for a problem I thought would never go away. Then I thought that I could do the same for others. I moved to Los Angeles to study Chiropractic and when I came back established Families First Chiropractic. I have been serving the Carroll Gardens community since 2004 using Chiropractic to encourage healthy and active lifestyle in my patients.
I have always been involved in my community and I am currently serving as the President of the Court Street Merchants Association (CSMA), and as an executive member of Carroll Gardens Neighborhood Association (CGNA). While earning my Chiropractic degree, I helped establish a free Chiropractic health care clinic in Tijuana, Mexico.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baruch College and later earned the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences. I then continued my education becoming certified in the Webster Technique, Graston Technique (M1) and became certified from the Academy of Family Practice (CACCP).
